Falcon Lane formed in January 2017. Formally a side project it quickly became the main focus for Chris Stott (Lead Vocals & Cajon) and Dean Cooke (Guitar/Vocals) following an agreed hiatus from a previous band. With a 10 year musical friendship behind them they swapped the full stack amplifiers and rock drum kit for their acoustic counterparts. Based in Herefordshire, the pair set about writing and recording their 11 track original album ‘Sunset Tremors’ from their own studio. Recorded in full electric but performed acoustically, it delivers a Jekyll & Hyde blend to their music.
Influenced by artist such as Bruce Springsteen, REM and Bon Jovi their music has that rock edge with a classy rich acoustic tone. Over the last year they have been championed by BBC Introducing and have played numerous gigs and summer festivals. From previously playing venues like The 100 Club in London and The Talking Heads in Southampton, they have relished the challenge of adapting to the acoustic scene and have established a firm local following. The charismatic and down to earth duo create a catchy and engaging sound…two guys playing with wood never sounded so good!
